Directors
We can offer variety of directors. Perfo is affiliated with Slovene and foreign directors from Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Great Britain, Finland, Belgium and the USA. Some of them are young, promising artists while others are renowned directors who have already achieved international recognition. Whether working with actors with honed skills and talent or real people with unique life experience, under Elam's direction, the performances are always honest, emotional and above all, human. Whether it's a shy little girl with a hole in her heart, or a five-time Emmy nominee, Jill Eikenberry and husband, Michael Tucker, Olympic Gold medalist Tara Lipinski, or Larry King and Vice President Dan Quayle, Elam guides them to the heart of the story. Before becoming a director, Elam studied acting for eight years at schools such as Charles Conrad Studio and The Groundlings. His education gives him a deep insight into the audition process and in general allows him to understand actors to a great extent. Elam has been featured in Shoot Magazine's Best Work and was recently selected to direct a segment of a feature film Death of Socrates. The feature is a collaboration of 23 directors (10 countries, 7 languages), starring Xander Berkeley (Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Apollo 13 and the TV series "24"). |
