A TRIP FINALLY IN CINEMAS |

The feature-length debut of director and screenwriter Nejc Gazvoda, A
Trip, is about three friends in their twenties going on the
trip just like they used to back in high school.
After participating in more than 15 international
festivals and receiving good reviews in prestigious film journals, the film is scheduled to come to Slovenian cinemas on 19th January.

2nd INTERNATIONAL AWARD FOR FEATURE FILM A TRIP |
A Trip was awarded with a special mention of the jury at the 10th Cinedays Film Festival in Skopje. The competition was very stiff, an Austrian film Lurd, directed by Jessica Hausner received a golden star award for best film. Two other film in the competition were Steve McQueens Shame, for which Michael Fassbender received best actor award in Venice Film Festival and a Romanian film Din dragoste cu cele mai bune intentii directed by Adrian Sitaru that received best director award in Locarno Film Festival.

In Delo, the main Slovenian daily newspaper, they wrote that Gazvoda's firs feature film A Trip, defeated his competition by collecting the prizes for best screenplay, music, editing, best leading actress and best leading actor. |

" A Trip" receives an incredible response from the audience at the Sarajevo film festival |
On the 28th of July at 8:00 PM, a world premiere of the debut film "A trip", directed by Nejc Gazvoda and produced by Perfo production, took place at the Sarajevo film festival.
There was exceptional interest beforehand and the theater was bursting at the seams at the screening, for it was the only world premiere in the feature film competition. The director Nejc Gazvoda walked the red carpet before the premiere along with the three main actors, Luka Cimpric, Nina Rakovec and Jure Henigman and a few minutes before the screening of "A trip", Charlotte Rambling, the diva of European cinematography presented the "Katrin Cartlidge Foundation Award" to an Egyptian writer and director Hala Lotfy on the stage of the theater.
The film was received with enthusiasm by visitors, as well as by present film professionals and critics, which is all the greater because of the fact it is a low-budget debut. The organizers of the festival have stated that "A trip" received the best audience of all the screened movies so far.
Nina Rakovec, the actress that plays one of the three main roles in the movie has commented: "The whole team working on the movie is extremely pleased with the result and even more with the response, everyone is praising our work, in one word - fantastic! "
Director Nejc Gazvoda added: "An exceptional and emotional response of the audience, it was a premiere from dreams!"
After the premiere, the reception took place in honor of the film and the film crew.
Film A Trip got the highest rank in competition program from the audience, average mark 4,36 (grades from 1-5) and two wonderful reviews in Screen Int.

A TRIP AT THIS YEAR'S 17th SARAJEVO FILM FESTIVAL |

First feature film, by a talented young director and screenplay-writer Nejc Gazvoda, A Trip, was accepted in competition section at this year's Sarajevo Film Festival. Sarajevo Film Festival will take place from 22nd till 30th July, and the World priemiere of the movie will be on 28th July 2011.
This very low almost micro-budget film, with less than 200.000 EUR and shot in only 14 shooting days at Slovenian coast, has gained attention of festival selectors in this year's Cannes market. A Trip is a story about three young people who are faced with real life problems for the first time. It is the story of their friendship, told from the viewpoint of the lost and confused generation of the eighties. |
